We get paid on the mail you don't buy.
A small monthly floor keeps the lights on and the data fresh. Everything above it is a fee on the mail we take off your plan — and it can never exceed 15% of what we saved you.

How the fee works
Your first plan is free. Paste your ZIPs, see your plan next to ours, and read the reason behind every route we cut. No card, no floor, no fee. If the cut list doesn't hold up, you owe nothing and you keep what you learned.
Then the floor. The monthly price covers a set number of plans, the data refresh behind them, and the saved record of what was decided and why.
Then the fee on what we cut, capped. Beyond the included plans, we charge per thousand pieces we take off your list. That fee is capped at 15% of the dollars saved on the same plan, so a big cut never produces a shocking invoice.
A worked example
Illustration only. No dollar total appears anywhere until you enter your own all-in cost per piece; the values below use a placeholder cost.
- Pieces we cut from the plan
- 40,000
- Your cost per piece (placeholder)
- $X.XX
- Dollars not spent
- 40,000 × your cost
- Fee at $10 per thousand cut
- $400
- Cap at 15% of dollars saved
- 15% of dollars not spent
- You pay
- the lower of the two
The cap only bites on unusually deep cuts. On a normal plan you pay the per-thousand rate and keep the rest.
Questions we get
- What counts as a plan?
- One list of ZIPs and routes, scored and saved. Re-running the same plan after a data refresh doesn't count again.
- What if I'd have cut those routes anyway?
- Give us your route list and we only charge on routes you had on it. Routes you'd already dropped are never billable.
- What if you tell me to cut nothing?
- Then there's no fee that month beyond the floor. A clean plan is a real answer and we'll say so.
- Which areas can you read today?
- Coverage comes from the data feed itself, not a list we maintain by hand. The methodology page shows exactly which counties are clean right now.
